Online giving campaign launched to make immunizations
available, at no cost, to local children in need
NPcatalyst is working with the NNIC on an online giving
campaign to raise $1,700, the equivalent of a child's immunization
needs.
The Northern Nevada Immunization Coalition (NNIC) is a
non-profit, community organization committed to protecting the health
of northern Nevada residents and decreasing the incidence of vaccine
preventable diseases through community partnerships,
advocacy and educating parents, health care professionals
and community members.
Did you know???
- Nevada
ranks 45th in the nation for its toddler immunization rates;
- Almost
100,000 northern Nevadans received a flu vaccine this season;
- NNIC
and its partners help protect children and adolescents from
sixteen diseases.
The Coalition's ability to provide resources to the
community has traditionally been made possible through
funding received from statewide grants. In line with its
strategy to become increasingly financially sustainable, place less
reliance on state funding, and keep pace with the community's
increasing reliance on our resources, the 501c3 non-profit
organization has created the ability to accept funds
from its friends and local corporations.
Donor support will provide greater access, information
and opportunity for local immunizations. Please consider making
